My LinkedIn followers are up by 23% in the last 90 days. And it has honestly surprised me. (Hi new followers!) Here's what's happening.
First... These new followers and the interactions I've had have been spot-on for the type of people my company helps. So I'm reaching the right people. And it's all been organic!
I've been discussing topics such as cold outreach, list building in Apollo.io, copywriting, and email deliverability.
Despite the niche nature of these subjects, like using spintax or managing cold outreach in HubSpot, the response has been positive.
These are subjects that I thought were too specific for anyone to care about. Besides my posts on GPT. But they've massively outperformed when I was trying to speak to a broader audience.
I spin these posts up based on whatever work I'm doing with clients at the time. It seems to be working, so I'm going to keep it up.

[00:00:00] So my number of followers on LinkedIn is up 23% over the last 90 days. And the way this happened is the most counter-intuitive thing.
[00:00:09] Are these the right followers? Let me just start with that. So the people who are engaging in my content and following me and messaging me are really good fits for the type of people I work with.
[00:00:16] I talk about outreach cold outreach called email list building, copywriting getting in the inbox, just generating new pipeline, basically.
[00:00:25] And these conversations have been spot on. So I am getting in front of the right people.
[00:00:29] With this content. I'm certainly not going viral. I have to say the topics have been the most niche and weird thing...
[00:00:37] I've been talking about spintax, I've been talking about building filters in databases like Apollo. I've been talking about how to sync and handle cold outreach in HubSpot CRM. I mean, truly niche topics using GPT, I guess that's popular, but using it in very particular ways for, uh, cold outreach and for list building and things like that.
[00:01:00] What's been happening is I'll just record a video, um, based on whatever I'm doing in a given day for clients and put it up in see what people think.
[00:01:08] I like thinking out loud, I'm learning out loud. And so it's helpful for me in terms of my process. And, um, I would get other ideas when people interact with that.
[00:01:15] So that's just what I'm going to keep doing. I'm going to keep making content and making videos, making posts, explaining the type of work that we do with clients, the type of things that, you know, the type of things that our clients are doing that look interesting. And, uh, keep an eye out for more of that.
